All school children should have access to their school upon their arrival at school each morning, as well as at recess and at noon hours when scheduled supervision is available.
- Each school Principal shall ensure that school doors are open to all students each school day a full one-half hour prior to school starting time and the Principal will ensure that the students are appropriately supervised during this time.
- Students given the privilege of entering the school early will be expected to behave according to school rules and to stay in the areas designated by the Principal.
- The privilege of early entry may be denied to students who do not behave appropriately and parents will be so notified.
- Students in elementary and middle school are generally expected to be outside before school and during recess and noon hour breaks. However at the Principal’s discretion, during inclement weather, students may be allowed to use a supervised area of the school.
